Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

BlackSpade respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English — if anything's unclear, just email us.

What we collect

When you submit a form on our site (the contact form at /contact or the custom inquiry form at /custom), we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email, company, role, and the details of your message or project.

When you visit our site, we may also collect standard analytics data: page views, browser type, approximate location (country level), referring site, and time spent on pages. This is collected via Google Analytics if it's enabled in our site settings. We don't track you across other sites and we don't use advertising cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to: • Respond to your messages and inquiries • Send confirmation emails when you submit a form • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it • Comply with legal obligations

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with third-party marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.

Third parties we work with

We use a small number of service providers to operate the site:

• Google Analytics for site analytics (when enabled). See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy • AccessiBe for accessibility features (when enabled). See their privacy policy: https://accessibe.com/privacy • Gmail / Google Workspace for sending email notifications via SMTP. See Google's privacy policy linked above. • Our hosting provider, which stores form submissions in a database we control.

We share information with these providers only as needed for them to perform their services, under standard contractual protections. We may also disclose information if required by law — for example, in response to a valid subpoena.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies:

• A session cookie for the admin login (only relevant if you have admin access) • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics if it's enabled • AccessiBe sets cookies to remember your accessibility preferences if you use that widget

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This may affect some functionality but won't prevent you from reading the public site.

Your rights and data retention

Depending on where you live, you have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access — ask what we have about you • Correction — fix anything that's wrong • Deletion — ask us to delete your information • Objection — object to certain uses

To exercise any of these, email us at heyideaguy@gmail.com.

We retain form submissions until we've finished responding to your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period afterward — typically up to 24 months. If you'd like your submission deleted sooner, just ask. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default settings (typically 14 months).

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. We'll note material changes clearly.
